Iden Evers - Edie and Gary’s devilishly clever arch-rival. An English public school old boy with a vaguely aristocratic background, Iden is from one of Europe’s oldest magician families. He employs a host of similarly polished and sinister magicians to aid him in such morally bankrupt and petty endeavors as stealing priceless artifacts under the guise of archaeology, competing for the sake of competitiveness, and knowingly including mildly falsified data in submissions to scientific journals. He may or may not have an embarrassing attraction to Edie to explain for all the pigtail-pulling behavior, but that depends on who you ask.
